This 60-minute all-levels vinyasa class was filmed live at Free Yoga at the Whale Tail in Golden Gate Park on a crisp San Francisco morning. Designed to energize and center, this flow is filled with deep twists and powerful standing shapes that build stability, focus, and internal heat.


Our peak pose for this practice is Twisted Chair (Parivrtta Utkatasana), a challenging and detoxifying posture that activates the legs, tones the core, and builds total-body awareness.

Whether you're looking to wring out tension or build strength from the ground up, this class offers a dynamic and grounding sequence that leaves you feeling strong, spacious, and steady, no props needed.

This all-levels twists & strengthening vinyasa flow moves through breath-led transitions and strength-focused poses designed to mobilize the spine, fire up the core, and tone the legs:

  • Low & High Lunges with Twists to build heat and rotate through the spine

  • Wide-Legged Forward Fold with a Twist to open the hamstrings and side body

  • Gate Pose for lateral length and mindful breath

  • Side Plank to strengthen the arms, shoulders, and obliques

  • Twisted Chair Pose (Parivrtta Utkatasana) to unify strength, balance, and breath
